Pain control

Analgesia at Stanford U

Studies at Stanford University proved that hypnosis changes the way we register pain.  Here you see a person in hypnosis with their hand in freezing water, showing no response to the pain that they were told to ignore.

Hypnosis has some very powerful effects in the hands of a skilled hypnotherapist. If you have pain, it is your body telling you that there is something of concern, and it is generally not a great idea to ignore it.  Carolyn Clark can discuss your needs with you so that you can understand how you can create the changes you wish.  You may wish to improve your golf swing, or keep training for a marathon, or perhaps you would like to have some hypnosis to assist you in going through your detox programme.
